Missing:July 4, 2004 -- Benjamin Q. "Zap" Knott is listed as missing as of today. He was last seen July 2nd up in the attic at The Avalon trying to invent his own formula for organic LED's. There was no indication of foul play other than a foul odor in the area he was last seen. Not Missing:Creativity is not missing at Avalon Engineering. If you have a design project coming up, call the guys at Avalon for some creative input. We'll make sure Zap stays out of your way, too. |

Update:July 22, 2004 -- You'll be happy to know we found Zap. He was found wandering aimlessly around the St. Paul Como Zoo. He couldn't quite decide if he was more attracted to the monkeys or the ducks. On the way out of the zoo, a vending machine caught Zap's eye. Zap perked up for a bit. But the vending machine showed no interest in Zap. A broken heart kept poor Zap up all night. We brought Zap back to work. He's back at his post guarding the lab. We took away that awful smelling potion that he thought would turn into organic LED's. It was attracting flies. Zap keeps begging to go visit Ax Man. We've never heard of a restaurant called Ax Man, but Zap seems to think they have a good menu. Apparently they have low-carbon entrees rich in minerals, and Zap is on a low-carb diet. |
